DESCRIPTION
I had the pleasure of filming and editing a new showreel for Olivier Award winning actress and vocalist, Lorna Want. Lorna made her West End Debut at the age of 15 in Romeo and Juliet the Musicalat London’s Piccadilly Theatre, and has continued to have a career in the West End, and regionally in musicals including Les Miserables, Footloose, Evita, The Fantasticks, Dreamboats and Petticoats, Parade, High School Musical, Annie get Your Gun, Roman Holiday,and Beautiful the Carole King Musical,for which she won the 2015 Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical.
My role was to film Lorna's live performance and cut a showreel to not only capture her vocal performance, but to incorporate the look and feel of the event within the video. I cut Lorna two versions of this showreel to highlight a variety of different songs sung on the evening.
